Project Scope

Good Kraken! is a gaming podcast network focused on highlighting underrepresented voices in the gaming space. With a super-casual, easy-going demeanour and a collection of personalities whose chemistry flies off the screen, Good Kraken! is a positive force to be reckoned with.

The team came to us looking for a fresh look for their community -- something that felt professional enough to enable colossal growth but also went HARD on their fun, laid-back approach to content creation. Our solution is an irresistible combination of 90s-inspired cartoon mascots and typography that feels like it popped right off a cereal box before school.

The typography and colour system are designed to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere while perfectly capturing a fusion of 90s nostalgia and a great day at the beach.

Paired with the core brand elements, we created a toolkit of badges, secondary mascots, and alternate logo compositions to give the brand flexibility.
